Getting ready

It's not long now until I head out to Malawi to start my nursing placement in Mulanje Mission Hospital. I fly on Sunday so the nerves are starting to kick in......more so about the flying at the moment, but I'm sure  that will change.

I'll be blogging throughout as it saves me feeling guilty for not emailing everyone individually, and its an easy way to share my photos. Although, I hope you realise you will be getting the full slideshow on my return as well - you don't get out that easily!

Its been a busy week with finishing my current placement, handing in assignments, making sure James has enough undercrackers to last him 2 months and making sure I have packed everything. Luckily, I learnt from the best and as you can see from the photo I'm just about organised. 

I also want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support in the planning of this trip and to everyone who very kindly contributed to my various fundraising activities.
